Vector

I thought this came out rather nicely. At least the text was really cool (There was a lot of text so I tried to do something funky with it. The background is made up of pen tool shapes and C4Ds.
If you have some constructive criticism, please let me know! I want to learn how to do it.

Smudge

This was...awful. >_<
I didn't really know what I was doing so I just went and blurred it several times. I put some light sources in, slapped the text on and this is what you get.
Ugh. PLEASE give me some comments on this one.

How do you make your smudges scatter like that?
(I tried using the brush presets with Scattering on and all that junk, but I couldn't get it to work. Do you not drag like you do with regular smudging? I can't figure it out...)

Most of my signatures are more like photo manipulations (I take stock and then edit them as opposed to using brushes, C4Ds, ect ect).
I took a stock of her and just made the colors and lighting more dramatic and added a c4d on the sword (looks kinda like lightning doesn't it?)

I can do one that's more traditional (There IS that render that everyone seems to use of her all the time...I tried to avoid it )

Again, I mainly just edited the stock I found.
I used the smudge tool to kind of extend the lines around him. Again, contrasted the colors to make them more dramatic. I also put that glow in his eyes to make him look more sinister. I was going to put something in the background, but I thought it looked dramatic as it is.

Like Jon's there are a LOT of cool pictures of Ichigo, so if you want another one, let me know.
